Reblog: MIND YOU!
FROM MAVERICK’S FRIENDSTER BLOG I did not edit anything.
Don’t mind the title, just came out of my mind. A thought of sharing the potential and unlimited capabilities of human mind, whether on mental, physical and spiritual plain. Do you believe that once you set your mind unto something you can accomplished whatsoever it is your trying to accomplished at that point, like trying to take over the world(it may sounds stupid but many individuals want it)? Or rather control your human cravings and emotions by merely relying on your mind to try and overcome situations, such as when your lost and hungry in a forest or to better yourself from any unfortunate circumstances? Or ever wonder if there is more to that in the human mind that can somehow fluctuate the wave of subconscious into developing a deeper level of subconsciousness with unbelievable results, for instances exceeding the limit of human strength (’superhuman strength’ just like super heroes), able to withstand pain that would normally kill a person, able to see things that normal people wouldn’t, etc………
This are just few questions that i have asked myself and which have had driven me to write this down and did a little research since I’m quite bored.
Lets start the discussion as i lay my eyes to rest…….ZZZZZZzzzzzzz…………all this writing is making me sleepy but I’ll continue anyway.
To begin to understand how to consciously put this mind power to work for you, we need basic understanding of how the mind operates and the various aspects of mind and their functions.
(LOLZ…………………….this diagrams made me laugh, i was just messing around, although i have to admit some of the things written are true and there are lots of parts missing, anyway lets continue to the real diagrams)
(So……….this is the scientific parts of the brain and pretty boring to learn but have to
Broca: The theater critic of the imagination, the part of the human mind that anticipates and ignores the predictable.
Visual images are
processed in the brain’s visual cortex, located at the base of the
skull, just above your spine. Immediately above the visual cortex, at
the back of the cranium, is the visual association area, where visual
memories are stored. (Stay with me, this gets interesting)
is processed in the auditory cortex, right above your ear. The memory
of sound is stored in the auditory association area, which occupies
most of the side of your head. It’s where words and sounds are stored.
located where auditory association meets visual association is
Wernicke’s area, the spot where objects are named. When you imagine a
golden, four-legged, African animal with irregular brown spots and an
extremely long neck, it’s Wernicke that attaches the word “giraffe” to
the image. When you think of a famous landmark in Paris, a graceful
metal structure known throughout the world, it’s Wernike that whispers,
“Eiffel Tower, stupid.” Wernicke is the king of nouns.
the other end of auditory association lies Broca’s area, a powerful
extension of auditory association into the motor association cortex.
The motor association cortex is the center of all physical action and
Broca’s area the center of action words. Broca energetically generated
verbs, enthusiastically constructs sentences, and anxiously anticipates
what others are about to say.
object of advertising is to influence the prefrontal cortex – the seat
of emotion, planning, and judgment, located just across the motor
association cortex, right behind your forehead. And the shortest leap
to it is from Broca’s area.
and vision words happen at the back of the skull, action and action
words happen at the front, in Broca’s area, right next to the
prefrontal cortex. The ear is right in the middle, the key to
what you want the listener to see, and she will see it. Cause her to
imagine taking the action you’d like her to take, and you’ve brought
her much closer to taking the action. The secret of persuasion lies in
our skillful use of action words. the magic of advertising is in the
Just ask Broca.
I’ll proceed where i left of.
First of all it is important to understand that human brain and the mind are not same things. Both the mind and mind power are purely a non physical aspect of you capable only of consciousness(unseen or spiritual), while the brain is the physical toll that the mind utilizes to process this consciousness, or thought, enabling the manifestation or the physical appearance of the thing thought of(the ideal) in the physical world.
It has been found that the average person utilizes only about “10%” of their brains capability. What about the other “90%”? Would our Creator(source) have provided us with a physical resources that he had no intention for us to use? Is it possible that by becoming consciously aware of the “True Power” of mind that human mind is “infinite” in nature limited only by a lack of awareness concerning its true capability?
I feel sleepy I’ll just update this blog, so many things to say and uncover but need rest.
